Round trip between Opatija and Lovran on the traditional Croatian wooden boat – gajeta, named “Angiolina”. The boat was built in 1968, on the island of Brac and has been driving tourists since 1973.
The starting point is the oldest port of Opatija – “Portić”. From Opatija, the boats heads towards Lovran. During the trip the guests will be able enjoy the view of the mountain Učka and coastal villages like Ika and Ičići. While sailing next to the villas built in the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the captain will tell the guests some information about their history. (Villa Istra, Villa Madonina, Villa Glax, Villa Ariston, Villa Münz, Villa Bamba, Villa Magnolia, Villa Frappart, Villa Santa Maria, Villa Astra …).
Departure schedule:
Low season (from January to June and from mid-September to the end of the year) from 10:00am to 02:00pm
High season (from June to mid-September) from 09:00am to 10:00pm*.
